🎯 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Resident Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the seamless daily operations of the hotel while ensuring exceptional guest experiences in line with luxury service standards. Acting as the General Manager’s key representative, the Resident Manager drives operational excellence, fosters a positive and motivated team culture, and upholds the hotel’s brand identity. This role requires strategic vision, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering world-class hospitality.
📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of all hotel departments, maintaining superior service standards.
- Provide support and leadership to department heads, fostering teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and uphold the brand’s luxury service standards, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Act as the primary liaison for VIP and high-profile guests, addressing their needs and ensuring an unparalleled experience.
- Manage guest complaints and operational challenges effectively, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with the General Manager on strategic initiatives, special projects, and key decision making.
- Assist in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization to improve financial performance.
- Lead staff training programs to enhance service quality and operational efficiency across all departments.
- Ensure the aesthetic excellence of the hotel, including landscaping, garden maintenance, and architectural upkeep.
- Strengthen the hotel's positioning as a premier culinary destination, promoting the ‘Locavore’ concept and farm-to-fork storytelling.
- Uphold the resort’s core pillars, including culinary excellence, golf, wellness, nature, and empathetic hospitality.
- Foster synergy and teamwork across the Domaine Heritage Resort to ensure seamless and enriching guest experience.
- Achieve financial, customer satisfaction, and sustainability objectives as outlined in the Balance Scorecard.
🔍 CANDIDATE'S PROFILE
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar position in a luxury hotel environment, with exposure to all hotel departments.
- Proven track record in hotel operations, guest relations, and revenue management.
- Strong understanding of 5-star service standards and luxury brand positioning.
- Experience in developing and executing high-end culinary and hospitality concepts.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
